Miserable and Humiliated

“My husband and I with our four children lived in a one-roomed house in someone’s backyard. There was no privacy. The situation was humiliating. We struggled financially because I was unemployed and my husband was the sole breadwinner. We could not afford our own home,” said Frances.

As if her situation was not dreadful enough, three of her children suffered from epilepsy. Although she sought professional help, that did not change the situation. Frances could not understand what was happening and had lost all hope.

“I was at home when the Universal Church members were making house visits. They invited me to attend services with them and I accepted. In the services, I listened to the preaching and received a prayer. I left the church feeling hopeful.

The following week, I invited my children to attend the services with me. I engaged in the chains of prayers for my financial breakthrough and I attended the Tuesday services with my children for their healing. I used my faith and believed that our situation would change.

In leaps and bounds, our lives started changing. I found a job. My husband and I managed to buy a beautiful spacious house. My children were healed from epilepsy. Today, I do not lose hope even when I face challenges because God strengthens me,” said Frances.
