Healed and restored
“I was very sick and had sores all over my body. It was worse at night. I could not sleep. My skin was dry and would peel off. This had a devastating effect on my self-esteem because I could not be among people. I had to isolate myself. I felt like an outcast at school. My peers looked at me differently.
I looked for help in several places, but I did not find any. Whenever I went to the doctor, I was be fine for a month and after that, the sores returned. I remember when I had to write my matric exams, my face was unrecognisable because of the sores.
I once passed the Universal Church and was invited to attend a service that day, I accepted. The pastor advised me to engage in the chain of prayer for my healing. I learnt to use the power of faith to fight for my healing and I was completely healed.
Today, I live a peaceful life. My skin was restored. I sleep well at night. I am confident because I know that God is with me,” said Joyce.
