Every time Jesus went to a place, people were healed, delivered and brought back to life.
Thieves, drunkards and sinners from all walks of life had the opportunity to change their lifestyles and pursue happiness and a life with dignity.
"When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, "Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?" She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more."" John 8:10-11
According to the Law of Moses, she was not supposed to live, but she did because Jesus did not accuse her. Instead, He gave her a chance to start a new life when he said: "…go and sin no more." After making bad choices more than once, you might feel unworthy of yet another new chance … you are wrong! Yes, you can have a new chance. As a matter of fact, you have the chance right now! The best of it is that Jesus is not accusing you, neither will we in the Universal Church. Regardless of your sexual preferences, creed, the colour of your skin or gender, we believe that God has a plan for you and wants to change your life, even if you have tried again and again and failed. After all, to God it does not matter why you have fallen or how many times you made the same mistake. To Him what matters is if you are willing to start again.
Did it matter to Jesus that she was involved in adultery? NO! What mattered to him was that a new chance was given to her and all that she needed to do was to embrace that moment, which she did.
Thus, what matters to God now is if you are willing to make the most of this opportunity to do the right thing and change your life.
You have received this newspaper from a Good Samaritan whose intention is to lead you to a new chance to change your life. Do not miss out on it!
God bless you,
